If you are a fellow Smalltalker, do you often
catch yourself saying "Heck. I can do that in Smalltalk" whenever you see a new
application?
I find myself thinking this a lot. Actually, I usually think immediately of how I would do this with Squeak, but the genesis is the same. The truth is I never find enough spare heartbeats to do 1/10th of the ideas I see or have. But something about Smalltalk, or maybe just my familiarity with it, keeps showing me that there are a lot of things that are not too difficult to do.
Hmm. Maybe just a little hubris tonight.
