Updates to my Squeak Enhancements
In this past week I spent a lot of time updating
my Squeak code enhancements
My Squeak enhancements web site
was updated early this morning to reflect some of the recent activities from me
for Squeak.I published a new version
of the Photos Publisher. It's a minor change, but I ran into a problem when
trying to update my wallpapers/desktops
site . I keep all the wallpapers locally and then use this Squeak
application to build a web site of pages to make them viewable and available.
The bug showed up when I added a lot of new categories of pictures and more
pictures. Three of the picture files had really long file names and the
application kicked out a hairball when the names got too long. Easy to
fix.I also updated the recover/extract
code. It includes a generous fix from fellow Squeaker Blaine
Buxton . Thanks Blaine. The tool itself is not as complete as it
could be, but it accomplishes what I needed. With this enhancement I can easily
move my existing Squeak development "environment" (backdrops, project views) to
a new Squeak image. The package to
magnify project thumbnails is
new.Align Project thumbnails
enhancement also includes some minor tweaks and another tweak from
Blaine.The World Menu Registry package
was updated. It now handles detecting if prior installed packages expected the
registry to be there, and updates it's menus
accordingly.And lastly, the latest
version of my Skins project was updated. I am using it successfully with Squeak
3.7.
